On 14 April Moscow will host BRICS Expert Dialogue on e-Commerce

The first BRICS Expert Dialogue on e-Commerce will be held on 14 April 2015 in Moscow upon Russia's initiative. Such meetings are primarily aimed at creating conditions for free e-commerce between BRICS countries.

The event will be opened by Russian First Deputy Economic Development Minister Alexei Likhachyov. The meeting will be attended by Ambassador-at-Large at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Russia's BRICS Sous-Sherpa Vadim Lukov, Russian State Duma Economic Policy, Innovative Development and Entrepreneurship Committee Deputy Chair Viktor Klimov and representatives of the BRICS countries' embassies in Russia.

Representatives of government agencies, expert circles and business structures have been invited to participate in the dialogue to discuss issues such as the status of e-commerce in BRICS countries, security measures in exchanging e-documents and protecting personal data, among others.

The meeting will also result in recommendations regarding e-commerce development in BRICS countries.
